Notes

• Deck clearance is positive when the piston sits below the deck at TDC (most common).

• Piston dish or valve reliefs add clearance volume (positive cc). A dome subtracts it (negative cc).

• Use the compressed head gasket thickness, not the nominal thickness printed on the box.

• Gasket bore is typically the cylinder bore + 0.020"". If unknown, leave it equal to bore.
